Henry Ford Museum located in Michigan is like the Smithsonian Museum that contains a collection of Artifacts from cars and trucks to plane and trains to farm tractors and house hold appliance and machine and mills and generators,and Bikes and motorcycles to campers and old gas stations like Texaco and Gulf.
The Museum is about Henry Fords collections and every car made by Ford and many others - is it a US National Historic landmark, the Clock tower is a Replica of Independence Hall in Philadelphia and was built in 1929 by Architect Robert O. Derrick.
Henry Ford said of this Museum :
I am collecting the history of our people as written into things their hands made and used...When we are through, we shall have reproduced American life as lived,and that, I think,is the best way of preserving at least a part of our history and tradition.
