Elizabeth Park, is located in Trenton ,Michigan on 162 acres and was built in 1919, The park is a County park located on an artificial island in the Detroit River, The park is sometimes referred to as SLocum's Island-The historic name of the island on which the park is located - Elizabeth Park is recognized as the first county park established in the state of Michigan.
The Island is separated from the mainland by a narrow canal and is located on the western shores of the Detroit River in the Trenton Channel.
The Park is a great place for fishing on the riverwalk along the Detroit River and has Baseball fields and pony rides and many areas to just enjoy the scenic views along the Detroit River and Canal.
