Henry & Clara Ford estate called Fair Lane, was built in 1909 by architect Joseph French, and Landscaped by Jens Jensen, Henry Ford was the Founder of Ford Motor Company and the Mansion is located in Dearborn on 1300 Acres off the Rouge River, Thomas Edison was a good friend of Henry Ford and built a Waterfall for Hydro-power that provides Electricity to the Power house and mansion and grounds currently 100+ years later, The estate also has a small lake on the property and beautiful ponds and meadows and nature trails flower gardens and rose gardens, The Ford Estate River walk and gardens and meadows are being renovated and beautiful new construction are developing the Ford mansion and Estate into a Beautiful tourist Attraction for the future.
