Belle Isle zoo once a thriving Public Attractions and opened in 1895 is located on the Detroit River in Downtown Detroit and was abandoned in 2002 but Explorers still visit the site to this day and a Movie was made here in 2010 Called ( REAL STEEL) with Hugh Jackman as a Robot Fighter movie.
