Built in 1927 by Architect Albert Kahn and landscaped by Jens Jensen the Beautiful Mansion is a English Cotswold Style Architecture and in located on the Shores of Lake St. Clair, Edsel Ford born in 1893 was the Son of Henry Ford and a Executive at Ford Motor Company, the Walls are made of Sandstone from a Quarry from England along with the roof Shingles, and Windows are 14th Century Stained Glass and 28 Medallions were added to the Windows worth Millions today,Henry Ford's Good Friend Thomas Edison added his Special Inventions to the Home as well,Eleanor Ford was born in 1896 had 4 Children with Edsel Ford - Henry Ford II born in 1917 and Benson Ford in 1919 and Josephine Ford in 1923 and William Clay Ford in 1925, The Edsel and Eleanor Ford Estate is a Historical Site that is Open to the Public for Tours and Special Events today and is a wonderful Journey back in History
