Elizabeth Park of Lake Erie and the Detroit River, Once a land Owned by Wyandotte Indians around 1732 came to Detroit with Antoine de Lamothe Cadillac with the French and settled on the banks of Detroit, and was a good area to live because the river banks were free of marshes and offered easy access to drinking water and good fishing and hunting and access to Canada and the soil was good for growing Food

I rather like your photo. Lot of interest and well balanced. Your story and the canoes tie together nicely. Thanks for sharing. I like photography because it is one way to see what the "other" person is seeing and your eye caught a nice setting.
