Mackinac point Lighthouse marks the junction of Lake Michigan & Lake Huron. Founded in 1889, The Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse station was in operation from 1890 to 1957. Located in Mackinaw City, Michigan the lighthouse was constructed of Cream City Brick, and the Tower Shape is a Cylindrical Castle with attached dwellings, and has the markings of natural with Black lantern, stands 62 ft with a fourth order Fresnel Lens and a 14 nautical mile range.
