Artist's Description

WoodLawn Cemetery, The final resting place of Edsel and Eleanor Ford on the left and William Clay Ford & Martha Firestone Ford grave is in the center & Benson Ford & Edith McNaughton Ford is located on the right but not shown in this photo.

Edsel Ford 1893-1943 was the only child of Henry & Clara Ford, and became President & CEO of FORD motor co at a early age and Worked side by side with his father Henry Ford, His Son William Clay Ford also Worked in the family business and was owner of the Detroit Lions which is now owned by his grandson Bill Ford.

Edsel Ford was married to Eleanor Bryant Clay Ford, and had 4 children - Henry Ford II- Benson Ford- Josephine Ford - William Clay Ford Sr.he became ill with stomach ulcers and died at age 49 and Henry ford was overwhelmed with his sons death and also dies 4 years later in 1947.
