Christ the Redeemer is a statue of Jesus Christ located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and is the Seven wonders of the World and is considered the largest art deco statue in the world- its is 98 feet tall and 92 feet wide and is located at the peak of the Corcovado mountain in the Tijuca Forest National Park overlooking the city. A symbol of Christianity, the statue has become a icon for Rio de Janeiro and Brazil - It is made of reinforced concrete and Soapstone and was constructed between 1926 & 1931
